The Warning Signs Your Tyres Need Replacing
Your tyres are the only point of contact between your car and the road. Monitoring their condition is crucial for safety and fuel efficiency.
Look out for the tread wear indicator bars; if they are flush with the tread, it's time for a change. In the UK, the legal minimum tread depth is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre. Also, check for any visible cracks, bulges, or punctures in the sidewall.
Uneven wear can indicate alignment issues, while vibrations through the steering wheel might mean your tyres are out of balance. Don't wait until you lose traction in the rain—inspect your tyres at least once a month.
